Playgrounds and Leisure Pools

Disney’s Old Key West Resort is home to more than one traditional playground as well as a main pool with waterslide, and several leisure pools. There is no shortage of entertainment for the entire family while staying at this resort. The main pool features a sandcastle waterslide, and nearby playground full of sand for the little ones to enjoy. If you want a more leisurely experience then you can seek out one of the several quiet, leisure pools throughout the property.

Campfire Activities and Movies Under the Stars

There’s more to explore at Disney resorts than guests realize! Disney’s Old Key West Resort is one of many deluxe resorts that feature campfire activities and movies under the stars. In select areas at these resorts guests can experience a lit campfire nightly with marshmallow kits available and Cast Members leading activities like stories and singing. Large inflatable projection screens will show a Disney movie nightly, and guests are invited to bring blankets and relax while they enjoy the film.

Community Hall

Several DVC resorts are home to Community Halls. These special rooms are a great way for families to connect during the downtime of their vacation, and they are perfect for rainy days or rest days at the resort. Here guests can participate in daily crafts or activities, rent DVDs and board games, play tabletop games, and video games. Community Halls can only be found at DVC resorts, and they are fun for families, guests traveling solo, or guests traveling in groups.

Sports, Fishing, and Bikes

Old Key West Resort offers basketball courts and other sports courts so guests can borrow equipment to play. Guided fishing excursions for an additional cost are also available, as well as bike rentals including surrey bikes for the entire family to enjoy. A golf course is also nearby for those who need golf to be part of every vacation. There are so many things to do throughout Old Key West, and there is truly something for every member of the family to enjoy.
