The Best And Most Viral Disney Snacks

Hong Kong

Disney parks have been trending on social media for a long time. However, the snacks found in the parks have not only satisfied cravings, but they have also become global sensations. In this article, I will share some sweet and savory snacks that went irresistibly viral! Let’s get started!

Disney World

Magic Kingdom: Crème Brûlée Croissant at Gaston’s Tavern

A flaky croissant filled with vanilla custard and crackly sugar on top quickly became a fan favorite. This fancy treat became iconic due to its appearance and its renowned taste. You can still eat this delicious snack while you enjoy the view of Gaston’s statue.

Magic Kingdom: Cheeseburger spring rolls at Adventureland cart

What happens if you mix eggrolls with a Big Mac? Well, that’s exactly what happened with these spring rolls. The internet went wild due to their unique flavors. The cart serves two different spring roll flavors, however the juicy beef, gooey cheese, pickles and mustard wrapped in a crispy shell, became a hit. You can still purchase these if you visit the park.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Night blossom at Pandora: The World of Avatar

This refreshing and vibrant drink became a hit due to its visuals. It has layers of apple-limeade, passion fruit, and boba pearls. It is special and visually beautiful; truly it feels like a drink found in the land of Pandora, which had many influencers desperately trying to taste it back in 2018. While not as coveted now, it continues to be a hit and is currently available for purchase.

These vibrant colors are just one perk of ingesting this sweet and fruity concoction.

Disney’s Animal Kingdom: Vietnamese Iced Coffee at Isle of Java

This coffee gained its social media virality because it served its purpose: to give energy! This caffeinated beverage is both bitter and sweet, as it contains condensed milk, and bold, rich coffee. It is strong, sweet and a must have for those who want true flavor and not a watered-down morning “pick-me-up.”

Coffee lovers, you must try this yummy coconut-flavored drink. It will not disappoint!

EPCOT : Croque Glace at L’artisan des Glaces

How does a warm brioche bun filled with creamy vanilla-bean ice cream and sweet chocolate spread, all grilled to perfection, sound? It feels almost wrong, but in the best way; while mostly appeasing to bread and ice cream lovers, this snack is an all-around fan favorite. Crafted as a simple dessert, it provides a mixture of hot and cold sensations and advanced textures. It’s an elegant and chaotic French masterpiece.

Disneyland

Seasonal churros

The best churros hand down, (as voted by many Disney fans) are found on the west coast. Although legendary as they originally come, the seasonal flavors have become an obsession and a viral social media sensation. Some of these flavors include the coveted Fluffernutter, Smore’s and Strawberry Horchata. The changes to the original churro give fans the opportunity to create more content, by filming or photographing these fun (and delicious) seasonal flavors.

Cold Brew Black Caf from Galaxy’s Edge

Make the jump to light speed and indulge in this caffeinated masterpiece! This drink is coveted for its strange appearance and strong coffee flavor. Cold brew, cocoa puffs and sweet cream cheese cold foam are the ingredients in this galactic concoction. It blends aspects of the Star Wars universe with actual ingredients that make a true “jump” in your taste buds.

You can find this popular drink on the east or west coast of North American Disney parks.

Disney California Adventure

Mac and Cheeze Cozy Cones at Cozy Cone Motel

While deeply photogenic as it mimics a traffic cone, this snack is both rich, comforting and easy to eat, especially while walking. This cone blends creamy cheese, and macaroni noodles inside a warm, homemade bread cone. It is a staple of Cars Land at DCA and will continue to be so for the next years to come.

Quantum pretzel at PYM Test Kitchen

Go big or go home should be the catchphrase of this establishment. How fun is it to eat food that is twice its original size? This soft, salty and large pretzel is perfect for those who love to have a laugh while indulging in a simple snack. It matches the premise of the restaurant as the menu changes the sizes of regular items to go with the Ant Man theming of the Marvel universe. Eating this pretzel is both a joke and a pleasant experience.

Tokyo Disney Sea

Green Alien Mochi at Food Cart of S.S. Colombia

I can attest to seeing these cute snacks on my Pinterest feed. These adorable, green Alien mochi have become so popular mainly for its appearance. The taste varies as there are 3 flavors: creamy custard, strawberry and chocolate cream. They are pillow soft, delicious and shaped like the beloved aliens of the Toy Story franchise. Not only are they aesthetically pleasing, but they have also gone incredibly viral.

Soy Sauce and Butter popcorn at Port Discovery (near Aquatopia)

Popcorns lovers need to visit Japan, and here is why. Home to so many popcorn flavors, this savory, umami-rich snack is a must try. It has driven popcorn lovers mad (in a good way) as it blends a unique flavor to the usual buttery taste of this snack. Don’t knock it till you try it, as many have become enthusiasts of this snackable treat.

Even the popcorn container looks kawaii! Japan is home to so many popcorn flavors and this one isn’t the exception. Photo: Emily Murray.

Sea Salt Ice cream Monaka at Mermaid Lagoon

Refreshing, sweet and salty, this is truly a perfect treat. This treat blends salty ice cream with crispy Monaka wafers, but surprise! Once you bite into this delicacy, there is a sweet, juicy fruit surprise in the middle. How fabulous! This viral snack is one of a kind and beautifully aesthetic; I suggest you give it a try if you are ever in Tokyo.

Shanghai Disneyland

Jumbo pop at Zootopia market

This snack looks like it was taken directly out of the Zootopia franchise. Not only is it sweet, bright and oversized, but it looks almost identical to the jumbo pop in the film that Nick Wilde hilariously sells for a high profit. Do not take the Shanghai Disneyland Imagineers for granted; they brought the magic of Disney storytelling to life with their snack options.

Hong Kong Disneyland

Lotso waffle sandwich at Jessie’s snack Roundup

Tickle me pink! This snack became viral due to its cute design and unique flavor. Paired with cheese, mushroom and strawberry jam, this may seem off-putting to some, but for the adventurous eater, this is a must try. It stands out from other foods, and the flavor is surprisingly delicious!

Summer snow day cone at Northern Delights (World of Frozen)

Creamy, cold, and sugary, this Olaf inspired summer snow treat is a must try for ice cream aficionados. It is beautifully crafted, however the flavor is what has made it so popular, as it is refreshing and light.  Hong Kong Disneyland loves to bring two elements to their food: nostalgia and visuals. Remember to give this treat a try as Olaf says, “in SUMMER!!”

Disneyland Paris

Champagne on Main Street, U.S.A

Can you imagine walking down Main Street with an alcoholic drink? It feels wrong, but it isn’t in Paris! While Epcot is the main hub for fun adult drinks, Disneyland Paris allows guests to blend in with European culture and sip on some bubbly, if you please. This became popular due to the difference in customs and the chic nature of posting a glass of champagne with Sleeping Beauty’s castle in the background.
