This year also celebrates 30 years of the event. Several kiosk signs, including China, Italy, Canada, and France, carry a “Cheers to 30 Years” ribbon marking the anniversary. It is a small detail, but one that longtime festival fans are likely to appreciate.
Signage Went Up Before the Official Announcement
Crews began placing the Global Marketplace kiosks around World Showcase and other areas of EPCOT back in July, though that first wave did not include signage. Now that the country and theme names have been added, the picture is much clearer.
It is worth noting that this preview comes ahead of Disney’s official reveal. The festival’s kiosk page still tells guests to check back later, so the installed signage is currently the best indication of what to expect. Menus for each marketplace have not been released yet.
