Sixteen Vacation Homes Added to Polynesian’s Island Tower DVC Inventory

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has expanded its inventory at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows with the addition of 16 vacation homes in the Island Tower. This latest declaration marks a significant milestone in the development of the property.

Details of the New Additions

On March 31, 2026, Disney officially declared 16 vacation homes for the DVC inventory at the Polynesian’s Island Tower. These homes are located on the fifth floor and include:

  • Five Duo Studios
  • Five Tower Studios
  • Three Dedicated One-Bedroom Villas
  • Three Lockoff Two-Bedroom Villas

This brings the total number of vacation homes available for DVC members to 123, with 99 homes still under Disney’s control for other uses, such as cash reservations or marketing.

DVC Points Allocation

The newly added vacation homes contribute a combined total of 228,459 DVC points to the inventory. This increases the declared points at the Island Tower to 1,980,132, which is approximately 54.9% of the building’s estimated total of 3,608,934 points.

Accommodation Breakdown

Here’s the current breakdown of declared vacation homes by type:

  • 26 of 39 Duo Studios
  • 45 of 91 Tower Studios
  • 17 of 26 Dedicated One-Bedroom Villas
  • 30 of 46 Lockoff Two-Bedroom Villas
  • 3 of 16 Dedicated Two-Bedroom Villas
  • 2 of 4 Two-Bedroom Deluxe Villas

Flexibility for Guests

Although the newly declared homes are on the fifth floor, guests may be assigned accommodations of the same type on any floor of the building, ensuring flexibility in bookings.
