tree of life

Disney World is a popular vacation destination for young families because of its availability to those of all ages. Guests love Disney’s accommodations for families of babies and toddlers. Between the Baby Care Centers, family attractions, and entertaining shows and parades, Disney World is a place where families can have fun together. Visiting Animal Kingdom with babies can make some parents nervous, but there are plenty of opportunities for fun for babies and parents both. There are several rides throughout Animal Kingdom with no heigh requirement that the entire family can experience together. If you are visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom with your baby then don’t miss these rides that they can enjoy.

Kilimanjaro Safaris

This attraction is Animal Kingdom’s crown jewel, and many guests enjoy experiencing it again and again! Kilimanjaro Safaris has no height requirement, making it the perfect family attraction. Guests can get a unique glimpse of animals like giraffes, zebras, lions, and more, as they interact in an enviroment that closely simulates one they would have in the wild. Because the animals are free-roaming,  you never really know what you might see or how close they might get. Babies love this attraction, and so do parents! It’s a great way to show your baby animals without having to walk around the park.

Na’vi River Journey

Babies and toddlers can still experience Na’vi culture at Pandora with Na’vi River Journey. This gentle boat ride through the bio-luminescent forest of Pandora is a great ride to enjoy with your baby. There’s plenty to look at with glowing plants and trees, and the large animatronic Na’vi Shaman at the end of the attraction.

Wildlife Express Train to Conservation Station

Near Kilimanjaro Safaris is the Wildlife Express train. This 7 minute train ride will take you to Rafiki’s Planet Watch, where you’ll find Conservation Station. Conservation Station is a center celebrating animals and exploring what Animal Kingdom does to care for them. Guests can watch the animal’s food being prepared and even medical procedures through a window overlooking the veterinary office. Here you’ll also find the Affection Section where guests are invited to pet animals like goats, pigs, and cows.

Festival of the Lion King

Did you know that Animal Kingdom is home to a Broadway-style show of The Lion King? Festival of The Lion King is a musical celebration unlike anything you’ve ever seen. Babies will love the songs, dancing, and visuals that come along with the show. You can see acrobats, puppetry, and so much more.

Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond

Another show that is great for babies and parents is Finding Nemo: The Big Blue and Beyond. This show uses larger-than-life puppets to tell the story of Finding Nemo and Finding Dory. Your baby will love spotting all of their favorite characters from the movies.
