Practical Souvenirs To Grab During Your Disney Vacation

Many families traveling to Disney World are expecting to bring pieces of the magic home with them. There are several shops to visit during your Disney vacation, each containing both classic souvenirs and some that are unique. There are many things you can look for to bring home and remind you of your trip. However, some guests prefer souvenirs that have practical uses rather than sentimental. Luckily, there are several options for guests who wish to bring home souvenirs that they will actually use during day-to-day life. Here are some of our favorite practical souvenirs to grab during your next Disney vacation.

Mugs and Drinkware

Disney mugs can be truly one-of-a-kind. Most shops within the parks and Disney Springs carry mugs, and each mug is playfully designed to trigger Disney memories and magic every time you use it. In addition to mugs, there are also several different varieties of cups and drinkware. Guests of resorts can typically find a mug or cup with the name of the resort on it and a fun design. Using these items when you are back home can get you back into the Disney spirit and ready for your next vacation. I personally use  my Disney mugs and cups on a daily basis and I love experiencing the joy that they bring.

Photo Frames

If you purchase Memory Maker you will certainly have many photos to take home with you, and there will definitely be one that you want to proudly display in your home. A Disney picture frame is an excellent practical souvenir to have; perfect for displaying those happy Disney memories and reminiscing on your trip every time you see them. Many Disney frames have the year printed on them so you can always remember which trip is being displayed. You can even find small refrigerator magnet frames for the wallet-sized photos.

Kitchenware

The kitchen is the heart of the home. What better practical souvenir than kitchenware? Disney has a collection of kitchenware that will bring magic to any kitchen. Pots and pans, oven mitts, storage containers, utensils, tools, aprons, measuring cups, cutting boards, cookie jars, towels, placemats, waffle makers, and so much more are available to purchase throughout the parks. Because these items tend to be larger, I recommend searching your resort gift shop so you don’t have to carry them around with you during your day at the parks. Disney Springs is also a great place to look for housewares and kitchenware items.

Cell Phone Cases

Perhaps my favorite practical souvenir to grab during my Disney vacation is a cell phone case. Throughout the parks, there are stores with cell phone case booths where you can customize your own phone case. There is a case for just about any modern phone available, dozens of Disney designs, and customization options like adding your name. Each case is printed individually, and guests can put it on their phone right away. Not only are these cases great for protecting your phone, but they are also great for remembering your Disney vacation.

    1. Hi Deb!
There are a couple places at Disney World where you can find Disney-themed jewelry. Check out Legends of Hollywood at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Uptown Jewelers at the Magic Kingdom.
