Planning A Stress-Free EPCOT Day For Adults

Adults visiting Disney World is a tale as old as time. Disney World is a great vacation destination for families, but adults love visiting the parks to get in touch with their inner-child, have fun, and enjoy some great experiences. There are plenty of ideas for adult-only vacations, and some guests even enjoy traveling to Disney for a romantic getaway without their kids. EPCOT is a park that is well-known for its grown-up fun. Whether you enjoy thrill rides, eating and drinking, or experiencing world culture, EPCOT is a great choice for a trip with only adults. Here are some tips for planning a stress-free adult day at EPCOT.

Explore The Front Of The Park First

Many guests don’t realize that most World Showcase offerings like snack and drinks stands and shops don’t open until 11am. Most adults traveling to EPCOT solo probably have World Showcase on their minds, but the morning hours are perfect for exploring the rest of the park. Guests should spend the first few hours of the day after the park opens to check out rides like The Seas With Nemo and Friends, Journey of Water Inspired by Moana, Spaceship Earth, Test Track, and more. After spending sufficient time outside of World Showcase, guests can head over during lunch hours to start their journey.

Head Toward World Showcase Near Lunch Time

Once 11am rolls around then World Showcase will start opening up. This is a great time to start exploring each pavilion and enjoying everything the countries have to offer. Most guests prefer to start their World Showcase walk in Mexico. This pavilion is home to the Gran Fiesta Tour attraction which is a great kick off to the rest of your journey around the world. Be sure to spend time in the shops as they contain special items that are imported from the country itself. This is a great chance to grab some unique souvenirs.

Try a Drink or Snack at Each Country Pavilion

Most adults come to EPCOT in order to drink and snack their way around the world. Stopping at each pavilion for a drink or snack is a fun way to experience this area of the park. Some of our favorites include the School Bread at Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe in Norway, the margaritas in La Cava Del Tequila in Mexico, and the beer in the Germany pavilion.

Visit During An International Festival

Adults can get even more out of their EPCOT vacation by visiting during one of EPCOT’s many International Festivals. These festivals have additional food and beverage booths set up throughout the parks so guests can explore more during this cultural experience. EPCOT’s festivals include Food & Wine in the fall, The Festival of the Holidays in the winter, The Festival of the Arts in January and February, and Flower & Garden during the spring.
