Planning A Romantic Disney Vacation For Two

Disney Honeymoon

When you think of a romantic vacation, a trip to Disney World might not be at the forefront of your mind. However, many couples love traveling together to visit Disney World and consider it to be the perfect vacation destination for romance! Where else can you go to have fun, ride rides, eat good food, and have deluxe accommodations? Many guests love doing adult-only Disney trips, with some even choosing to get married there or spend their honeymoon at the parks. There are countless ways to make Disney romantic. If you are thinking of traveling to Disney World with your sweetheart then here are some of our tips on planning a romantic Disney vacation for two.

Stay DVC

Romance is all about the setting, and staying DVC is the best way to ensure that the vibes for your vacation are immaculate! DVC resorts are deluxe resorts, and the rooms are spacious. Whether you choose a deluxe studio room or a one-bedroom villa, the elegance of DVC accommodations cannot be matched. Some of our favorite DVC resorts for couples include Disney’s Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Resort, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, and Disney’s Grand Floridian.

Book Sit-Down Dinners Each Night

An easy way to take your vacation from typical to romantic is to book sit-down dinners each night. There are dozens of sit-down restaurants available throughout all 4 Disney parks, Disney Springs, and Disney resorts. Each restaurant is uniquely themed with its own menu offerings and elegant standard. If you want to get fancy then consider booking a Disney Signature Dining Experience. Restaurants like Topolino’s Terrace and California Grill serve menus that are perfect for date night. Some of our favorite restaurants for romance include Coral Reef Restaurant, Le Cellier Steakhouse, The Boathouse, and The Hollywood Brown Derby.

Get Great Views for Fireworks

Fireworks are an important part of any Disney evening, but one way to add some romance into the night is by watching these fireworks from some unique areas. Private fireworks cruises are available to book at either the Magic Kingdom resort area or the EPCOT resort area. In addition to this, several restaurants have stunning views of the fireworks if you book your reservation at the right time in the evening. These restaurants include Ohana, California Grill, and Topolino’s Terrace. Also, booking a theme park view room at Disney’s Bay Lake Tower can grant you a view from your own private balcony.

Stroll The Boardwalk

Disney’s Boardwalk is located near EPCOT, and it’s a great spot to have a date during your romantic vacation. If you travel here during the day you can grab coffee at Carousel Coffee, dessert at Cake Bake Shop Bakery, and corn dogs at Blue Ribbon Corn Dog. If you visit during the evening you can catch live entertainment, dance at Atlantic Dance Hall, and visit Abracadabar.
