Perks Of Ending Your Disney Day Early With Children

Disney World vacations are popular with families with children because of their many accommodations and family-friendly rides and attractions. Many guests will find themselves being encouraged to enter the Disney parks as soon as they open and stay for the entire day until they close. This can work for many guests, but families traveling with children might find this plan to be quite difficult. Kids tire easily, and instead of pushing them to their limits some families might be wondering how to vacation while ending your Disney day early. You can absolutely still have a fun and fulfilling vacation with your kids and end your day early.

Energized Kids and Limited Fuss

You know your kiddos best, and if your kids don’t do well when pushed to their limits then ending your day early is better for everyone in the family. If you are back in your Disney resort room by 6pm each night you will have kids that are more energized and ready to tackle the next day. Sometimes as parents, we know that it’s better to have limited fussing than it is to experience more of the parks. Ending your day early can make for a better vacation than if you had kept the kids out late each night.

Time to Enjoy Your Disney Resort

Ending your day early can give you even more time to enjoy your resort. When staying on Disney property you want to be able to make the best of it. By retiring early each night you can spend more time at the pool, splash playground, play areas, and walking the grounds. You can send one grown-up out for late-night drinks while the other stays with the kids. You can also enjoy dinner at your resort’s quick-service dining location or even make reservations at a restaurant.

Plenty of Rest for Early Mornings

By getting the kids to bed on time you can set your next day up for success. Every parent knows that kids who have a full night’s rest operate better the next day. Early bedtime is key for the little ones, even on vacation.

No Crowds Getting Back

One massive perk of ending your park day early is that you don’t have to deal with crowds while leaving the parks. Most guests exit the parks when it closes after fireworks or other nighttime entertainment. This mass exit can cause long bus lines, and a big crowd. By leaving the park in the late afternoon or evening you are avoiding this chaos altogether. Sometimes leaving the park early is worth it!
