EPCOT’s World Showcase is a diverse blend of 11 different country pavilions, each with their own unique attractions and things to do and see. Each country within World Showcase represents itself authentically and allows guests to experience world culture in a new and entertaining way. The China pavilion is located in-between Norway and Germany, making it the third country on the showcase if you start by traveling to the left, and the 9th country if you begin by traveling to the right. The China pavilion is beautiful with stunning architecture and gardens. This pavilion contains several must-do’s for any guest. Let’s explore them together.
Reflections of China
This 12 minute-long Circle Vision 360 film is an absolute must-do when visiting the China pavilion. As soon as you step into the queue area you are immediately transported by the stunning architecture and ornate design. As you enter the theater you’ll stand as you are taken to several famous locations throughout China. From Nanjing Road to the Great Wall of China, and everything in-between, this 360 degree film will have you feeling as if you are seeing the sights firsthand. This show plays continuously throughout the day.
The Nine Dragons Restaurant
The China pavilion has some of the best food in World Showcase, and The Nine Dragons Restaurant is a must-do for foodies. This sit-down restaurant serves contemporary authentic Chinese cuisine with a menu featuring entrees like Kowloon Spare Ribs, Crispy Duck Fried Rice, Canton Pepper Beef, and Salt and Pepper Shrimp. Guests dine in a stunning dining room with intricate wood carvings and artwork.
Lotus Blossom Cafe
Want to experience more Chinese cuisine? Lotus Blossom Cafe is a quick-service restaurant that you just can’t skip. Open for lunch and dinner, Lotus Blossom Cafe serves those classic Chinese dishes that you can’t get enough of. With menu items like Orange Chicken, Mongolian Beef, pork Egg Rolls, and Pot Stickers, you can enjoy Chinese food like never before.
Joy of Tea
Tea is part of Chinese culture, so experiencing the Joy of Tea stand at the China pavilion is a must. This tea stand serves iconic favorites like bubble milk tea, Lychee bubble tea, Jasmine or Oolong tea both hot and iced, Honey hibiscus iced tea, and a unique pilsner with Orange Blossom Honey and Green Tea called the Dragon Blossom Draft. Other specialty cocktails featuring tea are served here like the Tipsy Ducks in Love which features black tea, bourbon, coffee, cream, and chocolate.
House of Good Fortune
The China pavilion is home to some great shopping. House of Good Fortune is a must-do shop located in the back of the pavilion. This large store is full of goodies including authentic souvenirs like clothing, toys, and home decor. Statues and incense, tea sets, chopsticks, and other Chinese goods can all be found here. Guests can also shop for Chinese packaged snacks, candies, and beverages at this shop.
