Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Sells Out for 2025 Season

Christmas Party

The holiday season at Walt Disney World is always a busy time, but the demand for this year’s premier after-hours event has reached a new milestone. Walt Disney World has officially announced that tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are completely sold out for the entire 2025 season. This sell-out occurred significantly earlier than in previous years, signaling a robust interest in the Magic Kingdom’s seasonal offerings despite rising costs.

For guests who have already secured their spot, the party promises festive parades and fireworks. For those who haven’t, this news confirms that the 2025 event is now closed to new attendees.

Record Demand Despite Price Increases

One of the most notable aspects of this year’s ticket sales is the pace at which they disappeared. The 2025 season sold out more than a week faster than the 2024 season. This acceleration in sales comes even as ticket prices reached record highs.

The demand suggests that guests remain willing to pay a premium for exclusive holiday entertainment. While there was some initial speculation that the quick sales might indicate Disney had lowered the event capacity, observations from the first party of the year suggest otherwise. Crowd levels appear comparable to, if not higher than, other post-COVID events, indicating that the popularity of the party remains the primary driver for the sell-out rather than a reduction in available tickets.

2025 Ticket Prices and Dates

The 2025 event schedule ran from November 7 through December 21, offering a wide range of dates for guests to visit. Pricing was tiered based on the date, with earlier November dates generally being lower and dates closer to Christmas commanding the highest fees.

Ticket prices for the 2025 season ranged from $169 to $229 per adult. The highest price point of $229 was set for the final party date on December 19 and December 21. Even the lower-tier dates in early November, priced at $169, saw high demand. Annual Passholders were offered discounts on select nights, typically saving $10 per ticket, but even with these potential savings, the cost of entry was higher than ever before.

What This Means for Attendees

With every single date now sold out, guests attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party should be prepared for a bustling environment. The event is operating with healthy attendance numbers, meaning popular offerings like the “Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade” and the “Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks” will likely have significant crowds viewing from Main Street, U.S.A.

If you have tickets, it is advisable to arrive as early as your ticket allows, typically 4:00 PM, to maximize your time in the park before the event officially begins at 7:00 PM. Prioritizing your “must-do” activities, whether that is meeting rare characters or enjoying complimentary cookies and cocoa, will be essential to navigating the busy evening.

Looking Ahead to 2026

For those who missed out on tickets this year, the only option now is to look forward to the 2026 holiday season. The trend of earlier sell-outs suggests that planning well in advance will be necessary for future trips. As demand for Disney’s hard-ticket events continues to grow, purchasing tickets as soon as they are released has become a requirement rather than a suggestion for ensuring entry.

While the party is unavailable, Magic Kingdom and the other theme parks still offer plenty of holiday decor and seasonal cheer during regular operating hours. However, the exclusive entertainment of the Christmas Party will remain closed off until next year.
