The “Mickey & Friends Motorcade” is officially ending in Disney’s Hollywood Studios on February 12th. However, the ending of the “Mickey & Friends Motorcade” also will lead into the returning of the Mickey Mouse meet and greet. Mickey will return to his home with Minnie Mouse in Red Carpet Dreams on February 13th.
The motorcade was added to the parks when it reopened in July 2020 as a way for guests to see some of their favorite characters. No character meet and greets had returned at the time due to Disney’s health and safety guidelines. However, over the last year and a half of being open, Disney has been adding these meet and greets and character sightings back in periodically.
Minnie Mouse returned to Red Carpet Dreams in November 2021 and it seems fitting that the iconic couple of Mickey and Minnie will be back together in time for Valentine’s Day.
In addition to adding Mickey and Minnie Mouse back to Red Carpet Dreams, Disney states that other characters from the “Mickey & Friends Motorcade” will be making appearances throughout Hollywood Studios as well. There is no word on where we’ll be able to spot Chip and Dale, but Pluto is already making appearances with the Disney Junior characters in Animation Courtyard.
