Magic Kingdom Attractions To Experience In-Between Major Attractions

When planning a visit to the Disney parks, you probably have an idea in mind of all of the major attractions available to you. Each Disney Park has its popular attractions; the big ones that everyone wants to ride. These attractions typically have a longer wait time, and guests often choose to rope drop these if they can or purchase Lightning Lane reservations. But what about attractions to experience in-between major attractions? There are plenty of attractions to experience when you aren’t waiting in line for a major attraction or while you’re waiting for your Lightning Lane Reservation. Here are some of our favorite attractions to experience in-between major rides at Magic Kingdom.

Mickey’s Magical Friendship Fare

This stage show is the perfect attraction to sit and watch while you wait for your next Lightning Lane reservation, or while you’re walking through Main Street USA and exploring the park. Mickey’s Magical Friendship Fare runs periodically throughout the mornings and afternoons. This stage show features all of your favorite Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald, Daisy, and several Disney princesses. It runs on the stage directly in front of Cinderella Castle and will bring you the perfect amount of Disney magic during your downtime.

Mickey’s Philharmagic

Located in Fantasyland, Mickey’s Philharmagic is a 4D experience that typically has little to no wait. This 4D show uses 3D effects as well as real-life effects like water to bring the entire thing to life for the audience. Guests can spot their favorite characters as Donald Duck travels through classic films and explores their iconic scenes. This attraction is great for an air-conditioning break as well.

Monster’s Inc. Laugh Floor

Located in Tomorrowland, this show is interactive and fun. Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor runs throughout the day, and guests typically don’t have a long wait in between showings. This show is different every time you see it because it uses live voice actors and audience participation. This is the perfect attraction to head to in order to kill some time, get some air-conditioning, and be entertained while doing so.

Prince Charming Regal Carousel

Located in Fantasyland, this traditional carousel is a great attraction to head towards in-between major rides. Guests can quickly hop aboard this attraction and experience a classic while they appreciate the artistry behind the ride. These horses are hand-carved, and the ride itself dates back to the early 1900s.

Tomorrowland Speedway

Located in Tomorrowland, the Tomorrowland Speedway is a fun attraction to experience while you wait for others. Guests can drive a car around the track on the Tomorrowland Speedway. Even little kids can experience what it’s like to be behind the wheel.
