Magic Kingdom Attractions That Are Often Overlooked



When you plan a vacation to Disney World it is always a good idea to come up with some form of an itinerary for your day. Looking ahead at which attractions are important for you to experience is a great method to plan your day at the parks. Magic Kingdom is a park full of attractions, both classic and new. Many attractions are popular and are the top of many visitors’ lists. But what about the attractions that are often overlooked? You can have a wonderful Disney vacation and wait in shorter lines when you go for these less popular attractions at Magic Kingdom.

Mickey’s PhilharMagic

Located in Fantasyland, this attraction is often overlooked by many guests during their visit! Mickey’s PhilharMagic is a 4-D theater experience. Guests are invited to join Donald as he experiences the world of Disney magic and music. This 12 minute-long attraction features 3-D effects as well as other effects like lighting, water, bubbles, and audio to really bring the film to life. This is a great attraction to experience if you need to take a break and want to sit down, or if you don’t feel like waiting in a line.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin

This attraction is in Adventureland and is the first attraction you’ll see when you enter this area. The Magic Carpets of Aladdin typically don’t have a long wait-time associated with them, and guests can oftentimes just walk on. This attraction is simple but fun, especially for those with little kids.

Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor

Located in Tomorrowland, many guests overlook this fun and interactive attraction. Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor invites guests to laugh along with characters from the Monsters Inc. world. Guests see familiar faces as well as new ones, and the monsters interact with guests during the show. You’ll leave this experience laughing and wanting to come back for more.

Prince Charming Regal Carousel

Many guests overlook this attraction because of its simplicity, but you really shouldn’t skip Prince Charming Regal Carousel. Centrally located in Fantasyland right behind Cinderella Castle, Prince Charming Regal Carousel is a large and historic carousel featuring hand-carved horses and artistry. This ride is the perfect walk-on attraction for most of the day, and little ones are sure to enjoy it every time.

Swiss Family Treehouse

Also over in Adventureland is where you’ll find Swiss Family Treehouse. Based on the old classic film the Swiss Family Robinson, this treehouse is a self-guided tour of the treehouse from the film. Guests climb stairs and explore different scenes and rooms. The view at the top is unique, and it’s fun to come back at night as well!
