Toy Story Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios has a new face, and she comes with a full playlist. Lilypad, a character from Toy Story 5, is now set up outside Alien Swirling Saucers, where she serves as the attraction’s DJ. Here is a look at what she does, the music she spins, the games she plays, and the new signage that comes with her.

Who Is Lilypad

Lilypad is a Toy Story 5 character, and she has taken up residence in a flowerbed just outside Alien Swirling Saucers. Guests walking past can stop to listen to her music and take part in her activities, so you do not need to ride the attraction to enjoy what she offers.

Her arrival adds a new layer of interaction to the queue area and the walkways around the ride. It gives guests something to do while waiting or passing through Toy Story Land.

The Music She Plays

Lilypad works as the ride’s DJ, spinning a mix of remixed classics and brand-new original songs. Many of the tracks are familiar Toy Story tunes that guests already hear while riding Alien Swirling Saucers, now reworked for her set.

The playlist includes remixed versions of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” “We Belong Together,” and “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away.” It also features “Hay Un Amigo En Mi,” a Woody’s Roundup remix, “Partysaurus Rex Anthem,” “Buzz Beats!”, and an instrumental take on “I Knew It, I Knew You,” the song Taylor Swift wrote and performed for Toy Story 5. Two songs were created specifically for the attraction: “Spin It Back, Lilypad” and “Pizza Planet Promo,” a theme for the well-known pizza restaurant.

Album Graphics on Her Screen

Each song comes with its own themed album graphic that appears on Lilypad’s screen while it plays. The visuals tie directly to the track you are hearing, which makes it easy to tell what is playing at a glance.

A red album featuring Buzz represents “Hay Un Amigo En Mi,” while a blue album with Forky plays “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away.” A black album with the Pixar ball plays “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” and a green record with Lilypad herself plays her original song “Spin It Back, Lilypad.” The “Pizza Planet Promo” record is shaped like a pizza with a Little Green Alien in the center, and a blue record with the Star Command logo plays “Buzz Beats!”

Interactive Games and Activities

Lilypad’s playlist is broken up by a rotation of games and graphics that invite guests to join in. One game asks you to guess which character she is doodling in her drawing app, while another has you help unscramble puzzles that depict different Toy Story characters, including Partysaurus Rex.

She also shares more lighthearted moments between songs. Lilypad displays “home videos,” such as one showing Forky and Karen Beverly’s wedding, and she shows a text message thread between herself and Smarty Pants. Guests may also catch greetings in different languages that appear between the games and music.

How Long the Loop Runs

If you want to see everything Lilypad has to offer, plan for a full loop of about 32 minutes. That covers the complete rotation of songs, games, videos, and greetings before it repeats.

The length means you are unlikely to catch it all in one quick pass. It also gives repeat visitors a reason to stop by more than once during a trip to see the parts they missed.

The New Lilypad Jams Marquee

The Alien Swirling Saucers marquee has been updated to match the new addition. It now includes a “Lilypad Jams” banner designed to look like a giant friendship bracelet, complete with beaded charms.

Lilypad’s face appears as one of the charms, with a butterfly at the other end of the beads. The banner ties the ride’s exterior to her presence in the flowerbed nearby.

The Updated Ride Soundtrack

The changes are not limited to the area outside the attraction. Guests riding Alien Swirling Saucers now hear an updated soundtrack, with a random song playing during each cycle.

The updated ride music includes reimagined versions of “You’ve Got a Friend in Me,” “We Belong Together,” and “I Can’t Let You Throw Yourself Away,” along with the two new original songs, “Pizza Planet Promo” and “Spin It Back, Lilypad.” Several other tracks tied to Lilypad’s outdoor playlist may also be part of the ride’s rotation.

Conclusion

Lilypad brings a fresh, interactive touch to Toy Story Land, pairing a reworked soundtrack with games, videos, and playful details that guests can enjoy without ever stepping on the ride. Between the roughly 32-minute activity loop, the new “Lilypad Jams” marquee, and the updated music on Alien Swirling Saucers, there is plenty to take in on your next visit to Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It is a small addition that gives the land a bit more personality.
