Ideas For Your Last Day At Disney World

Old Key West

The last day of your Disney vacation doesn’t have to be gloomy! Just because it is your last day at the most magical place on Earth doesn’t mean your vacation is over. There are several ways to make the absolute most out of all days of your Disney vacation, including the very last one! Whether you have to leave property before noon, after noon, or in the evening, there are ways to occupy your time during your last day. If you have an upcoming vacation planned to Disney World then be sure to make plans using these ideas for your last day.

Visit Disney Springs

Disney Springs is a great place to visit during your last day at Disney World. Not only can you easily access this are via Disney bus transportation, but it’s also free to enter, and allows guests the opportunity to do some last minute shopping. If you missed out on buying a souvenir during your park days then check out the World of Disney store. If you need a souvenir it will definitely be in stock here. Guests can grab last minute Disney snacks like Dole Whip, pretzels, popcorn, and the famous Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar. Disney Springs is a great way to squeeze a little extra magic out of your very last day on property. There’s even a paid carousel and train ride for the kids to enjoy. If you have extra time before your flight home you could even catch a movie at the AMC Theater.

Pack a Separate Pool Bag and Swim

Who says you can’t enjoy the resort pool during your last day on property? Just because you’re leaving town later in the day doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the water. Pack an extra pool bag with some dry clothes to change into so you can enjoy the pool without having a resort room to retreat back to when you’re finished.

Grab Coffee Somewhere Nice Before You Leave

There are plenty of places to grab a good cup of coffee at Disney resorts before you go. Carousel Coffee at Disney’s Boardwalk, Le Petit Cafe at Disney’s Riviera, and Contemporary Grounds at Disney’s Contemporary Resort are just a few specialty coffee shops at DVC resorts.
