Hurly-Burly-Theatre

Disney’s BoardWalk Resort is getting a new evening hangout, and its details are now official. Hurly-Burly, a seaside theater lounge, will open its doors on October 1, 2026, bringing a menu of shareable plates, vintage-style cocktails, and a handful of non-alcoholic sips. Here is what you need to know before you stop by.

Work being done now at the Boardwalk to convert Jellyrolls into the Hurly-Burly Lounge

Hurly-Burly takes over the space once occupied by Jellyrolls, the dueling piano bar that closed earlier in 2026 for this renovation. The lounge sits inside the resort’s historic seaside theater building along the BoardWalk promenade. The name and theming lean into a vintage entertainment feel, tying the food and drinks to a nostalgic stage-and-showtime vibe.

Opening Date and How to Visit

Mark your calendar for October 1, 2026. Hurly-Burly operates as a walk-up venue, so you will not need a reservation to grab a table or a drink. Keep in mind that all offerings are subject to change and availability, which is standard for a new location settling into its routine.

Two Personalities: Day and Night

The lounge shifts its mood as the day goes on. During daytime hours, Hurly-Burly runs family-friendly trivia and games, making it welcoming for guests of all ages. Once 9:00 PM rolls around, the space transitions to live music for guests 21 and older. If you are traveling with kids, plan your visit for earlier in the day.

Small Bites Menu

The food menu focuses on classic boardwalk fare meant for sharing. The Meatballs in Tomato Gravy mix veal, pork, and beef with stracciatella cheese, Pecorino Romano, and toasted focaccia, with a plant-based version available on request. The Tomato Pie offers the same accommodation, built on focaccia with tomato sauce, oregano, and Pecorino Romano.

Here is the full lineup:

  • Meatballs in Tomato Gravy: veal, pork, and beef meatballs with tomato gravy, stracciatella cheese, Pecorino Romano, and toasted focaccia
  • Antipasto: sliced meats, burrata, Pecorino Romano, and marinated vegetables
  • Mini Pretzels with Bacon-Cheese Fondue
  • Tomato Pie: focaccia, tomato sauce, oregano, and Pecorino Romano
  • Oven-Roasted Shrimp: garlic, herbs, and sweet pepper-onion relish
  • Roast Beef Sliders: shaved roast beef and horseradish-mustard sour cream on slider rolls
  • Theater Concessions: a trio of meatballs, a sugar cookie, and buttered popcorn
  • Mini Apple Cider Doughnuts: topped with miso-caramel sauce

Non-Alcoholic Specialty Drinks

Three specialty drinks round out the non-alcoholic side, and two of them will also be sold at the lounge’s walk-up window along the BoardWalk. Overture in Orange pairs Minute Maid orange juice with sweet cream for a frozen treat. Caramel Corn Cold Brew layers Joffrey’s cold brew with caramel sweet cream and caramel popcorn. Cherry Marquee blends Minute Maid lemonade with Amarena cherries and a gourmet cherry garnish.

The Cocktail List

The cocktail menu is the longest section, with options built around the lounge’s vintage theme. Standouts include the Mertini, a spin on the classic gin martini, and La Taquilla Picante, a spicy margarita finished with a spiced nutmeg rim. Seven of these will also be available at the walk-up window.

Grab and Go From the Walk-Up Window

If you would rather keep strolling the BoardWalk, the walk-up window has you covered. Two of the three non-alcoholic specialty drinks and seven of the ten cocktails will be offered there, so you can pick up a drink without stepping inside the lounge.

Final Thoughts

Hurly-Burly gives Disney’s BoardWalk a fresh spot that works for families by day and adults by night. With a walk-up format, a wide drink list, and a menu of shareable bites, it should fit easily into a resort stroll or an evening out. Keep the October 1 opening date in mind if you want to be among the first to try it.
