Guests traveling to Disney World with the Disney Dining Plan are allowed one quick-service meal, one table-service meal, and one snack per person for each night of their stay. The Disney Dining Plan is a great tool to use to make your vacation feel all-inclusive, and guests might feel more inclined to book restaurants that they might not otherwise, like character buffets. There are many places throughout the parks and Disney Springs that allow guests to use their snack credit. Snacks on the meal plan are anything with the purple logo next to the name on the menu and can be items like pretzels, ice cream, and popcorn. However some guests might find themselves on check-out day with unused snack credits. Don’t let these go to waste! Here is how you can use leftover snack credits before you check out!
Buy Packaged Snacks and Goods
The gift shop at your Disney resort will have several packaged snacks and consumable goods that are available as a snack on the Disney Dining Plan. Guests can use the last of their snacks here and enjoy taking these snacks home with them or eating them on their journey back. Packaged snacks include trail mix, chips, lollipops, Disney-themed candy, mints, and so much more. This is a great opportunity to take some Disney back home with you, as you can eat these snacks and enjoy memories of your trip.
Look at Desserts from Your Resort’s Quick-Service Restaurant
Every quick-service restaurant at Disney resorts will have an area for desserts, all of which will be on the Disney Dining Plan as a snack. Guests can browse freshly made desserts and other baked goods and use their snack credits on something delicious. My favorite Disney desserts include specialty cupcakes, freshly baked chocolate chip cookies, and brownies.
Grab a Bottled Drink For Your Trip Home
Bottled beverages are also included as a snack on the Disney Dining Plan. If you have a long car ride home or need something to drink on your way to the airport then grabbing a bottled soda or tea is a great way to spend your snack credits.
Hop to Disney Springs
If nothing at your resort is tickling your fancy then catch a bus over to Disney Springs. There are several stands and quick-service restaurants that have snacks on the Disney Dining Plan. Guests can enjoy a Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bar or something a bit more interesting; just look for the purple dining plan logo next to the item.
Travel to Other Resorts
Still not finding anything you want? Feel free to hop over to other resorts and see what they offer. For example, Disney’s Polynesian Resort will have Dole Whip at Pineapple Lanai and Disney’s Boardwalk Resort will have a larger selection of snacks than any other resort. Have fun exploring and see what you can get!
