How To Do Disney When You Dislike Waiting In Lines

Flower and Garden

Disney World has become an even more popular vacation destination in recent years than ever before. Disney World is full of attractions, shows, and live entertainment that keep guests coming back year after year. With more and more people visiting the parks each year, the crowds have increased alongside the wait times and queue lines. If you don’t like waiting in lines, it is still possible to have a good time vacationing at Disney World. If you dislike lines and waiting here is how you can still do Disney quickly, easily, and effectively!

Purchase Lightning Lane Reservations

Lightning Lane reservations, and Disney’s Lightning Lane Multi-pass and Lightning Lane Premier Pass can allow you to experience all of the attractions you wish without the long lines. Individual Lightning Lane reservations can be made for attractions like Tron, Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Lighting Lane Multi-Pass allows you to book more than one attraction, with a limit of one pass per attraction. Lightning Lane Premier Pass is the same as multi-pass without the restrictions. For guests who hate waiting, this investment is worth it!

Experience Shows and Parades

If Lightning Lane isn’t for you but you still hate to wait, there are many options throughout the parks for shows and parades that don’t have lines. Parades like Festival of Fantasy, stage shows like Mickey’s Magical Friendship Faire, and larger shows like the Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular give guests quality entertainment without waiting in any lines.

Enjoy Food, Snacks, and Drinks

Not a rides or show person? Disney still has plenty of food, snacks, and drinks for you to try. While the rest of your family is waiting in lines you can hop around and try different Disney snacks. Favorites of guests include Adventureland’s Cheeseburger Spring Rolls, ice cream at Plaza Ice Cream Parlor, hot dogs at Casey’s Corner, and of course the classic Mickey pretzel with cheese and Disney popcorn.

Shop and Explore Areas of the Park

There’s so much more to the Disney parks than just rides! There are different areas to explore throughout including the shops. Guests can take in the theming, people watch and just enjoy being present in the parks. Hollywood Studios’ Galaxy’s Edge is an example of an area of the park to enjoy without waiting in any lines or experiencing any attraction. Just taking in the theming, taking photos, and enjoying being present in the moment.

Have a Disney Resort Vacation

If you have a major distaste for lines and crowds you can always choose to have a resort-only vacation. Staying at a Disney resort can absolutely be a complete vacation in itself without stepping foot inside the parks.
