Disney’s California Adventure park is a park that not only celebrates beloved Disney characters and films, but the spirit of California as well. Disney’s California Adventure is home to several attractions, from family dark rides to thrill rides and everything in between. Guests of all ages will love exploring Disney’s California Adventure. One themed area within California Adventure is Grizzly Peak. Inspired by the wilderness of California, guests will find much to do here. Join us as we explore Grizzly Peak at Disney’s California Adventure together.

Attractions

Soarin’ Around the World- This unique attraction is a combination of a motion simulator attraction and a thrill ride. Soarin’ Around the World allows guests to take flight in a hang-gliding experience as they view amazing sights from all over the world. This attraction is more than just a ride. It also uses 4D effects like smell to create a completely immersive experience. Soarin’ Around the World is for guests who are 40 inches or taller. This attraction might be tricky for those with a fear of heights, although the actual height of the attraction isn’t as great as it seems. Some places that you’ll see during this attraction include Paris, Sydney Harbour, the Great Wall of China, Mount Kilimanjaro, the Swiss Alps, the Taj Mahal, Monument Valley, the Great Pyramids of Egypt, Fiji’s Lau Island, and Iguazu Falls in South America

Grizzly River Run– Ready to get wet? Grizzly River Run is a whitewater rafting adventure that is for guests who are 42 inches or taller. This attraction is a wild ride through whitewater rapids where guests board an 8-person raft and float down a wild California river. This attraction is where guests can find the iconic Grizzly Bear mountain point, a symbol for California. Lockers are available for 2 hours free of charge because guests should expect to leave this ride soaked. Ponchos are encouraged!

Food and Drink

Smokejumpers Grill– Inspired by California’s firefighters, Smokejumpers Grill serves hot and fresh favorites. Entrees include the Chipotle BBQ Bacon Double Cheeseburger, Spicy Chicken Sandwich, and Double Cheeseburger. Guests can enjoy chocolate or vanilla milkshakes for dessert. Smokejumpers Grill also serves breakfast items like the Breakfast Sandwich or Chorizo Burrito.

Popcorn Cart at Grizzly Peak Airfield- In need of a quick snack? What could be better than salty and buttery popcorn? The Popcorn Cart at Grizzly Peak Airfield is one of several popcorn carts that can be found throughout California Adventure.

Entertainment and Other Experiences

Redwood Creek Challenge Trail- This unique outdoor park has attractions for guests of all ages to experience. Guests 42 inches or taller can experience the Cliff Hanger Traverse Rock Climb, and guests 32 inches or taller can hop on the Hoot n’ Holler Log Slides. Sequoia Smokejumpers Training Tower is for guests who are between 42 inches and 63 inches tall. This attraction can be experienced at your leisure and in any order you choose.
