Every Disney and Pixar Movie Coming in the Next Few Years

Avengers: Doomsday

The Russo Brothers are back in the director’s chair for what promises to be one of the most anticipated MCU entries in years. Avengers: Doomsday arrives on December 18, 2026, with a confirmed runtime of 165 minutes, giving the story plenty of room to breathe.

This film kicks off a two-part conclusion, with Avengers: Secret Wars following on December 17, 2027. Fans who have been tracking the MCU’s Phase structure will want to clear their schedules for both.

Hexed

Hexed is an animated Disney film arriving on November 25, 2026, and its cast alone makes it worth watching. Hailee Steinfeld and Rashida Jones lead the film, with Jodie Foster stepping in as Queen Celeste, the queen witch, and Walton Goggins voicing a character named Beef Roger Crummchuck.

The film was first announced at Destination D23 in 2025, and the story centers on a teen girl navigating a world of witches and magic.

With a release just before Thanksgiving, Hexed is positioned as one of Disney’s flagship animated releases of the year.

Gatto

Pixar heads to Italy with Gatto, directed by Enrico Casarosa, the filmmaker behind Luca. What sets this one apart visually is its animation technique, which draws on brushstroke and watercolor aesthetics to give the film a painterly, handcrafted look.

Mark Ruffalo lends his voice to a character named Nero. Beyond that, details remain limited, but the combination of an Italian setting and a distinctive visual style makes this one of the more intriguing Pixar originals in recent memory.

Frozen 3

Anna and Elsa return for the beginning of a two-part farewell. Frozen 3 arrives on November 24, 2027, and picks up with Anna and Kristoff finally tying the knot.

Olaf also gets a new chapter in his story, with the introduction of a character named Samantha. The film is the first half of a planned two-part finale, with Frozen 4 set to follow and wrap up the franchise. For families who have been following these characters since 2013, this one is going to land hard.

Ghost Market

Pixar’s first film centered on ghosts is set in Hawaii and built around the concept of a hidden market that exists at the crossroads of the living and the dead. Ghost Market focuses on hungry ghosts and the world they inhabit alongside the living.

The Hawaiian setting gives the story a cultural specificity that feels fresh for Pixar, and the premise opens the door for the kind of emotional depth the studio is known for. A Spring 2028 release is currently planned.

Incredibles 3

One of the most talked-about announcements from D23 was the confirmation of Incredibles 3, arriving June 16, 2028. The film picks up with Violet, Dash, and Jack-Jack in a world where superheroes have regained legal status.

There is no time jump, meaning the story continues directly from where the family left off. Brad Bird returns to write and executive produce, while Peter Sohn takes on directing duties. Edna Mode is also back, which is reason enough to be paying attention.

Live-Action Lilo and Stitch 2

Following the success of the live-action Lilo and Stitch, a sequel is officially in the works for May 26, 2028. Chris Sanders, who co-directed the original animated film, steps in to direct. The story is confirmed to be brand-new rather than an adaptation of existing material, which gives the creative team room to take things in unexpected directions.

Perhaps the biggest confirmed addition is Angel, also known as Experiment 624, making her live-action debut. Fans of the original animated series will recognize her as one of Stitch’s most significant connections.

Live-Action Tangled

Disney’s live-action Tangled brings together a cast worth talking about. Teagan Croft plays Rapunzel, Milo Manheim steps in as Flynn Rider, and Kathryn Hahn takes on the role of Mother Gothel. Diego Luna also joins the cast in an original role created for this version of the story. Michael Gracey, known for directing The Greatest Showman, is at the helm. The film arrives March 31, 2028, and the casting choices alone suggest this will be a version of the story with its own distinct personality.

Clay

Clay is a Disney original arriving in November 2028, starring Kieran Culkin. The film centers on characters named Clay and Mooshy.

Beyond that, the studio has kept details close to the chest, but Culkin’s casting signals that this is a project with serious dramatic intent. It stands out on the slate as the entry with the most mystery surrounding it, which may work in its favor as more details emerge closer to release.

Coco 2

Rounding out the announced slate is Coco 2, the long-awaited sequel to Pixar’s 2017 film. Lee Unkrich returns to direct, joined by co-director Adrian Molina. Miguel comes back older, and the story brings Ernesto de la Cruz back into the picture seeking revenge.

The original film remains one of Pixar’s most beloved, and the decision to continue Miguel’s story with the original creative team behind it is a strong sign that the sequel has been built with care. A November 2029 release gives the team time to get it right.

Zootopia 3

Disney Animation officially confirmed that Zootopia 3 is in development, with Ginnifer Goodwin and Ke Huy Quan both set to return. Director Jared Bush teased the announcement by noting that audiences have only seen one city on one continent on one planet, suggesting the third film will venture into territory the franchise has not yet explored.

No release date has been announced, but speculation places this film to be released sometime in 2030. The confirmation that the core cast is back and the world is expanding makes this one to keep on your radar!
