EPCOT Festivals And Events You Should Plan Around

When you visit Disney World during any time of the year you can expect a vacation full of magic and fun. But sometimes there are special events that occur throughout the year that guests might want to plan their vacations around. EPCOT is a park that celebrates the world and all of its components. Between World Nature, World Discovery, World Celebration, and World Showcase, guests leave EPCOT feeling inspired as well as entertained. EPCOT hosts several festivals throughout the year. Many guests enjoy planning their trips around EPCOT’s International Festivals. If you have an upcoming visit to EPCOT planned then check out some of the festivals and events you should plan around.

International Festival of the Arts

Typically running from mid-January to late-February, EPCOT’s International Festival of the Arts is a celebration of art and culture. This festival has many special elements making it great like the many art booths set up throughout World Showcase with paintings, prints, and other works of art for sale. Photo opportunities are set up throughout the park where guests can feel like they are in a work of art themselves. A chalk art gallery is on display, and a large paint-by-numbers is available for guest participation. Festival exclusive food and drink are available throughout the park and World Showcase. This festival is definitely a fan-favorite, and makes visiting in the winter even more magical.

EPCOT Flower & Garden

Early March through early June is when you’ll be able to experience EPCOT’s Flower & Garden festival. This celebration of nature, spring, flowers, and plants is the perfect activity to celebrate the season. EPCOT sets up a butterfly house with many species of butterflies as well as flowers and other plants. Festival exclusive food and drink are available, as well as character topiaries and other displays of gardening.

EPCOT Food & Wine

Late August through mid-November is typically when you can find EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival. This celebration of all things culinary of course features food. Booths are set up throughout World Showcase where guests can sample different snacks and unique treats from all over the world. Concerts play at the theater at the America pavilion. For this festival, there are more food and drink booths than any other festival.

International Festival of the Holidays

To celebrate the holiday season, EPCOT hosts the International Festival of the Holidays from late-November through the new year. This festival includes holiday treats, drinks, and holiday traditions from each country within World Showcase. Guests can celebrate the holidays like never before and learn about new traditions, foods, and have fun while doing so.
