Traveling to Disney with children can be intimidating, but the Disney parks are truly the best place to be with little ones. Disney makes it so easy for families to travel there. Between stroller rentals, the Baby Care Centers, and on-property resorts, Disney World is truly built for families. It can be nerve-wracking for some parents to think about food during vacations, especially for those with kids who are picky eaters. EPCOT has several dining options available for guests, whether they are table-service or quick-service restaurants. If you are planning on visiting EPCOT with your family, then be sure to check out some of these dining options that your kids will actually love.
Garden Grill Restaurant
Looking for a fun character dining experience during your visit to EPCOT? Garden Grill Restaurant is located within The Land pavilion and not only allows you to meet Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale, but it also gives you a unique rotating view of the Living with the Land attraction from above. The meal here is served family-style, but it’s extremely kid-friendly. Roast turkey slices with gravy, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, and seasonal veggies are just some of what you’ll find here at Garden Grill Restaurant.
Coral Reef Restaurant
If you want something a bit more sophisticated but still something suitable for your children, then check out Coral Reef Restaurant. Located near The Seas with Nemo and Friends attraction, this restaurant lets you gaze into EPCOT’s massive saltwater aquarium while you dine. Kids absolutely love watching the fish swim around while they eat, and parents love the menu consisting of entrees from both land and sea. Here you’ll find sharks, sting rays, sea turtles, and maybe even a scuba diver if you’re lucky.
Connections Eatery
If you need something quick and easy then Connections Eatery is the quick-service dining location for you. Kids can munch on classics like cheeseburgers, chicken tenders, and cheese pizza. Adults can enjoy a variety of food from around the world like General Tso Chicken Salad, pizza, and sandwiches.
Regal Eagle Smokehouse
Located in the America pavilion, Regal Eagle Smokehouse serves barbecue that the entire family will enjoy. This quick-service restaurant is located right in the middle of World Showcase making it the perfect place to stop for a break. Kids can get cheeseburgers, chicken strips, and oven-baked macaroni and cheese. For dessert, guests love the Smores Bar and Banana Pudding. Kids are also obsessed with the fresh watermelon slices that Regal Eagle Smokehouse serves. Adults love the barbecue menu consisting of ribs, smoked chicken, pulled pork, cornbread, and the fries that are seasoned and covered in beer cheese.
