EPCOT Dining On A Budget: What’s Worth Trying

Planning your Disney vacation with a budget in mind is a great way to make the most of your trip without breaking the bank. Dining is a huge part of any Disney vacation. Not only is Disney World a known destination for foodies, but food is also important fuel for you and your family during your trip. Days at Disney can be long and tiring, and taking a break for a meal is a very important aspect of anyone’s Disney day. Whether you choose to enjoy a table-service meal or a quick-service restaurant, here is what is worth trying when dining on a budget at EPCOT.

Garden Grill Restaurant

Located within The Land Pavilion, Garden Grill Restaurant is a lovely character dining experience. Featuring Farmer Mickey, Pluto, Chip, and Dale, these characters will come to your table as you enjoy a farm fresh feast. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Garden Grill is an experience you just can’t miss. Not only do you get to see characters while you eat, but you also slowly rotate to catch views of the Living with the Land attraction. For breakfast, guests enjoy a skillet full of eggs, steak, potatoes, waffles, and pastries. For lunch and dinner, guests enjoy all-you-care-to-enjoy steak with chimichurri sauce, oven roasted turkey, macaroni and cheese, cornbread, and ratatouille. This is a truly unique dining experience, and it’s perfect for families with small children!

Katsura Grill

If you like Japanese food but you want to stay on budget with a quick-service restaurant then Katsura Grill is the place to be. This quick-service restaurant is located in the Japan pavilion, and serves ramen, udon, chicken teriyaki, sushi rolls, and Japanese curries. Guests can dine outside in the traditional Japanese garden and experience a shady and tranquil dining experience.

Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe

Located in the Norway pavilion, this bakery is the perfect place to grab a quick snack! Guests love the School Bread, which is a custard-filled roll tossed in toasted coconut. Guests also love the Viking Coffee which kicks off their morning or provides an afternoon pick-me-up. Other yummy treats like lefse and orange cinnamon rolls can be found here as well!

Via Napoli Ristorante e Pizzeria

Located in the Italy pavilion guests will find Via Napoli. This pizzeria is great for those on a budget because guests can easily share one or two pizzas. The pizzas here are authentic, with real Italian chefs making only the best! Many guests of EPCOT report this restaurant as being their all-time favorite. Not only does this restaurant have great food, but it also has a large wine list, and guests can see the pizzas being cooked in the many wood-fired ovens.
