Determining a budget for your Disney vacation is a great way to divide your priorities and spend money towards what will make your trip magical for you. For many guests, food is less of a priority for spending whereas things like Lightning Lane, souvenirs, and other upgrades are more worth splurging on. But are there any dining experiences that are worth the splurge? EPCOT is a large park that celebrates world culture, innovation, and imagination. There are several dining experiences throughout the park, with some being more of a splurge than others. If you are planning your budget for your 2026 vacation then here are some EPCOT dining experiences worth splurging on.
Takumi-Tei
Located in EPCOT’s Japan pavilion, Takumi-Tei is a luxury dining experience unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. This Disney Signature Dining experience features a prix fixe meal of the chef’s choices. With the full course starting at $250, this is a fine dining experience of the best of Japanese cuisine. This restaurant is only for guests aged 8 and up, and guests are expected to dress for the experience with no flip flops, swimwear, or tank tops. There are 5 distinct rooms decorated in traditional Japanese decor for dining in, including a private room called the “Water Room” that can be rented out for larger parties for an additional fee.

Garden Grill
If you enjoy character dining experiences then Garden Grill is definitely worth the splurge. This all-you-care-to-eat family style meal is served or breakfast or dinner, with a price tag of $49 per adult and $33 per child for breakfast, and $42 per child and $62 per adult for lunch or dinner. This restaurant not only lets you meet Mickey, Chip, Dale, and Pluto, but it also slowly rotates giving you a unique view of the Living with the Land attraction. For breakfast, guests enjoy a classic meal of Mickey waffles, pastries, grilled steak, eggs, potatoes, and bacon. For lunch or dinner guests enjoy steak with chimichurri sauce, mac and cheese, oven roasted turkey and gravy, cornbread, and ratatouille.

Le Cellier Steakhouse
Located in the Canada pavilion, this Disney Signature Dining Experience is impressive and keeps guests coming back for more. Le Cellier Steakhouse is a cozy, romantic dining space that is perfect for an adult-only vacation or a romantic evening for two. Le Cellier serves steak in every way possible, with sides like mac and cheese, Brussel sprouts, frites, and more.

Akershus Royal Banquet Hall
Located in the Norway pavilion, this character dining experience is very worth the splurge for your Disney princess fan. Princesses like Aurora, Ariel, Cinderella, and Belle will meet and greet you while you dine on a buffet full of Norwegian and American goodies. Open for both breakfast and dinner, this buffet is totally worth the splurge.
