DVC Resorts With the Best Access To Disney Parks

Disney Monorail

One of the biggest perks in staying at a Disney resort is the quick and easy access to all 4 theme parks, water parks, and Disney Springs. Every Disney resort has free transportation that is easy to use and reliable. Some DVC resorts are more optimally located with easy and fast access to certain parks. Whether you are taking the bus, Skyliner, Monorail, boat, or even a walking path, you will be able to visit all of the Disney parks quickly and easily. If ease of transportation is important to you, then be sure to check out these DVC resorts with the best easy access to Disney parks.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort + Bay Lake Tower

Located on the monorail line, this resort was one of the first Disney resorts and remains popular to this day. Disney’s Contemporary Resort is home to DVC’s Bay Lake Tower where guests can enjoy luxury DVC accommodations with great theme park views. This resort is the closest you’ll get to Magic Kingdom, and with the right view you can see the fireworks every night. The monorail makes it quick and easy to travel to both Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. But Disney’s Contemporary Resort features an additional perk that guests love: a walking path to Magic Kingdom. Guests can leave their room at the Contemporary and walk just 10-15 minutes to Magic Kingdom’s entrance.

Disney’s Riviera Resort

The only DVC resort on the Skyliner route is Disney’s Riviera Resort. Themed after the sophistication and beauty of Europe, this resort feels secluded and luxurious. At Disney’s Riviera Resort you can grab coffee at Le Petit Cafe in the morning and then take a quick Skyliner ride to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and EPCOT.

Disney’s Boardwalk Resort

Located near both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, Disney’s Boardwalk Resort is within walking distance of both parks. Guests only need to walk 10 minutes from this resort to reach EPCOT, and 20 minutes to reach Hollywood Studios. When guests walk to EPCOT they are also close to the International Gateway Skyliner station. Disney’s Boardwalk Resort is also home to its own entertainment like live performances at night, Atlantic Dance Hall, and several lounges and restaurants along the boardwalk.

Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort

This resort is within typical distance from the Disney parks, but Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort is uniquely located within walking distance to Disney Springs. Guests staying at Disney Springs can walk 15-25 minutes from their room to Disney Springs. There they can grab cookies and a cold brew from Gideons, spend the afternoon shopping, and enjoy some of the many bars and restaurants that Disney Springs has to offer.
