Planning a Disney vacation can mean spending several months thinking about where to stay, where to eat, and what parks to visit. Disney vacations are best when planned in advance, especially when visiting during busy seasons like summer and spring. However, last-minute Disney World trips are still possible and have always been enjoyed by some guests. There are some great options for last-minute getaways at Disney and last-minute guests can still have great lodgings and dining reservations. When using websites like DVC Shop, guests can grab DVC suites and villas on last-minute deals. If you are thinking of dropping everything and heading to Disney then check out these DVC resorts that are great for a last-minute stay.
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort
This resort is one of Disney’s largest, so it’s a great option for those who need a very last-minute getaway! There are many options for guests staying here including deluxe studios, and multi-bedroom villas. If you are visiting for a short amount of time and will have either no park days or very few, then Saratoga Springs‘ close proximity to Disney Springs is perfect for you. Guests can walk to Disney Springs from their room and enjoy the scenic views of the golf course on the way there. This resort is also home to several different pools including two with waterslides and splash play areas for little kids. If you want a quick and easy booking, great views, and a relaxing atmosphere then Disney’s Saratoga Springs is perfect for you.

Disney’s Old Key West Resort
Another relaxing resort that is very low key and perfect for a last minute booking is Disney’s Old Key West Resort. Home to tons of rooms including multi-bedroom villas, this resort really feels like its own small town in Florida. There are a large number of pools and playgrounds here, so guests traveling with children will find themselves to be very busy playing during their trip. Disney’s Old Key West resort is also home to the famous Olivia’s Cafe which serves brunch or dinner. This restaurant has a great Florida-inspired menu and will leave guests feeling like they truly experienced the state.

Disney’s Boardwalk Villas
If you are coming in for a last-minute stay and want something with entertainment options outside of the parks then Disney’s Boardwalk Villas is a great option for you. This DVC resort has its own boardwalk, similar to those that you might find in the upper east coast of America. Here you can experience several different restaurants like Cake Bake Shop, bars like Abracadabar, and even an dance hall. Staying here will have you feeling like you stepped into a mini-theme park!

Disney’s Contemporary Resort
If you plan on spending a lot of time at the parks during your last-minute getaway then choosing something on the monorail line is a great choice. Disney’s Contemporary Resort is home to Bay Lake Tower which contains several DVC villa options. Here you can walk to the Magic Kingdom, or take the monorail. You can also take the monorail all the way to EPCOT. If you want to cut down on travel time to and from the parks then this resort is a great option.
