Staying DVC is a great way to experience deluxe accommodations, and by renting with DVC Shop you can have these accommodations at a moderate price. DVC resorts are deluxe resorts that are located closer to the parks, and typically these resorts have more than one method of Disney transportation to enjoy. Skyliner resorts like Disney’s Riviera, and monorail resorts like Disney’s Contemporary Resort and Bay Lake Tower, can make park hopping quick and easy thanks to their transportation systems and close proximity to the parks. If you plan to hop around to more than one park during your next vacation and you want to do so quickly and easily then consider a stay at one of these DVC resorts.
Disney’s Riviera Resort
Located on the Skyliner route, staying at Disney’s Riviera Resort makes it easy to travel to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. Both parks are accessible with the Skyliner, so guests who are interested in spending as much time as possible in these parks might want to consider a stay at Disney’s Riviera Resort. This resort’s design takes inspiration from Europe and also features beautiful murals and architecture. Disney’s Riviera Resort is home to restaurants like Topolino’s Terrace which hosts a character breakfast with Mickey, Minnie, Donald, and Daisy, and also Le Petit Cafe serving specialty coffee and pastries. Disney’s Riviera Resort is charming, and it’s access to the Skyliner is a massive perk.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort
Located on the monorail line, this resort makes it very easy to quickly hop over to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Disney’s Contemporary Resort is the first stop on the monorail line after leaving Magic Kingdom, so guests can get back to their resort very quickly. Guests of this resort also have the option to walk to Magic Kingdom using a walking path that takes around 10 minutes to complete. If guests wish to go to EPCOT they can easily take the monorail to the TTC and transfer to the EPCOT line. Other perks of staying at Disney’s Contemporary Resort include access to restaurants like Chef Mickey’s and Steakhouse 71.

Disney’s Boardwalk Resort
Guests who want to be able to quickly get to EPCOT will love staying at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort. This resort is within walking distance to EPCOT, and also Hollywood Studios. Guests can also take a boat from this resort to either park. Since the walking path from Disney’s Boardwalk takes you to EPCOT’s International Gateway, that also means that guests can access the Skyliner. Other perks to staying at Disney’s Boardwalk Resort include a wonderful pool with twisting waterslide, snack stands like Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs and Pizza Window, live entertainment, and having access to Atlantic Dance Hall.
