Many guests love staying on Disney property because of all of the perks and benefits that come with it. It’s no secret that Disney resorts allow you to remain inside the magic during your entire visit, and staying there is the true full Disney experience. Disney Resorts come in four categories: value, moderate, deluxe, and DVC. Each resort category comes with its own amenities and perks. All DVC resorts are deluxe resorts, and the amenities that come with them are the best of the best. In order to make sure you’re taking advantage of every aspect of your stay, don’t forget to utilize these DVC resort amenities you might be overlooking.
Free Laundry For DVC Members
When staying DVC, guests don’t have to worry about having clean clothes or overpacking. One, two, and three-bedroom villas all contain a full-sized washer and dryer for guests to use. Laundry soap is also available. For those staying in studio rooms, community laundry rooms are available for use. Many guests enjoy doing laundry during their vacation so they can pack less, with some preferring to do their laundry before they return home so they can relax upon return.

DVC Community Halls
Guests staying at DVC resorts have access to Community Halls where they can participate in daily crafts and activities. Community Halls also have DVD rentals, board games, and games like foosball and chess. Community Halls are a great place for guests to hang out and spend time during a rest day, rainy day, or resort-only vacation. DVC Community Halls are located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge Kidani Village, Disney’s Bay Lake Tower, Disney’s Boardwalk Villas, Disney’s Old Key West Resort, Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa, Disney’s Riviera Resort, and Disney’s Vero Beach Resort and Hilton Head Island.

Kitchenette or Full Kitchen
DVC resort rooms are unique in that they all contain some form of a kitchen and kitchen amenities. DVC studio rooms have kitchenettes with microwaves, sinks, coffee makers, toasters, and mini refrigerators. DVC villas have full kitchens with cookware, bakeware, full-sized appliances, and dishwashers. These amenities are great for guests who are staying longer than just a few days, or for guests who prefer to cook and not eat park food during their entire stay.

Early Park Entry
Guests staying at DVC or deluxe resorts are treated to early park entry. Guests of these resorts are welcome to enter the Disney parks 30 minutes prior to the opening time for the general public. This gives guests a great opportunity to enjoy certain attractions with little to no wait, or guests can get a head start on rope dropping popular attractions. Entering the park early is also a great time to take family photos in a nearly empty park.
