Planning your Disney vacation with a budget in mind is a great way to make the most of your trip without breaking the bank. Dining is a huge part of any Disney vacation. Not only is Disney World a known destination for foodies, but food is also important fuel for you and your family during your trip. Days at Disney can be long and tiring, and taking a break for a meal is a very important aspect of anyone’s Disney day. Whether you choose to enjoy a table-service meal or a quick-service restaurant, here is what is worth trying when dining on a budget at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Sci-Fi Dine-In
This sit-down restaurant is truly unique and unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before. Disney’s Sci-Fi Dine-In Restaurant invites guests to experience a vintage drive-in movie theater. Guests enter the restaurant and find it to be in a state of perpetual twilight. The lights are dim and stars are sparkling in the distance. Guests dine inside old vintage cars equipped with tables. Old science fiction clips play on the big screen ahead of you while you dine on nostalgic favorites. Guests enjoy burgers, fries, milkshakes, pasta dishes, sandwiches, and more as they watch old clips and soak in the ambience of the restaurant. This sit-down dining experience is worth the splurge for any budget, and families with kids especially love this experience. Many guests consider Sci-Fi Dine-In to be a must-do experience and they come back to it year after year.

Woody’s Lunch Box
Located in Toy Story Land, this quick-service restaurant is very budget friendly. Woody’s Lunch Box serves old school favorites like grilled cheese, lunch box tarts, and “totchos” which consist of potato barrels, chili, cheese, and other delicious toppings. This restaurant is perfect for those needing just a quick bite, and the outdoor seating keeps you within the ambience of Toy Story Land. Woody’s Lunch Box serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

ABC Commissary
Another great quick-service dining location to experience within Hollywood Studios is the ABC Commissary. Cleverly themed after a studio cafeteria, this quick-service dining location serves surprisingly unique foods. Guests can enjoy Buffalo Grilled Cheese, Gumbo, Shrimp Tacos, Pork Tacos, and Mediterranean salads. The indoor seating is a nice bonus for those extra hot and tiring days in the park.

50’s Prime Time Cafe
Another restaurant celebrating nostalgia is 50’s Prime Time Cafe. This sit-down restaurant is modeled after a family kitchen, and guests will really feel like they are in a 1950’s home during their meal! Guests can choose from nostalgic meals like meatloaf, pot roast, fried chicken, and pot pies. After your meal (if you eat all your vegetables) you can indulge in some warm apple crisp.
