Disney’s Hollywood Studios Attractions to Experience In-Between Major Attractions

When planning a visit to the Disney parks, you probably have an idea in mind of all of the major attractions available to you. Each Disney park has its popular attractions; the big ones that everyone wants to ride. These attractions typically have a longer wait time, and guests often choose to rope drop these if they can or purchase Lightning Lane reservations. But what about attractions to experience in-between major attractions? There are plenty of attractions to experience when you aren’t waiting in line for a major attraction or while you’re waiting for your Lightning Lane Reservation. Here are some of our favorite attractions to experience in-between major rides at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Alien Swirling Saucers

Located in Toy Story Land, Alien Swirling Saucers is the perfect attraction to experience while you wait for Toy Story Mania or Slinky Dog Dash to become available to you. This fun attraction is for guests 32 inches or taller and swirls you around while Toy Story music plays. This attraction typically doesn’t have a very long wait time associated with it, and guests love riding this ride over and over again.

Walt Disney Presents

This walkthrough attraction is something that guests can experience at their own pace. Walt Disney Presents is a museum celebrates Walt Disney’s life and career. Guests can see pieces of Disney history as they explore this gallery and read about how Walt Disney created his company and characters. At the end of the gallery, guests are invited to watch a short film called “One Man’s Dream” where they can learn more about Walt Disney and his life’s work.

Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live

Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ newest attraction is Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live. Guests of all ages can enjoy this attraction, but children will especially appreciate seeing their favorite Disney Jr. characters dance and sing. This attraction is perfect for parents of littles who are waiting for their big kids to be finished with thrill rides, or parents of littles who are trying to entertain their kids and want some air-conditioning in the process.

Meet Olaf at Celebrity Spotlight

If you need something to do while waiting for the Frozen Singalong to begin you can walk a bit further down to the Olaf meet and greet. At Celebrity Spotlight, guests can meet Olaf and take photos as well as give and receive warm hugs. Meeting characters is a great activity for those in-between times, so you still feel like you’re experiencing an attraction.

Star Tours-The Adventures Continue

This Star Wars attraction is the perfect place to go when you’re waiting for your turn on Rise of the Resistance or Smuggler’s Run. Star Tours- The Adventures Continue is a 3D attraction that takes you on a tour of outer space with your favorite Star Wars characters.
