Disney's All-Star Sports Resort

Another sign that things are returning to normal in Disney, the last Walt Disney World hotel will be reopening soon! Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort is reopening on March 31, 2022. Reservations opened on December 22nd for the reopening date and beyond.

In March of 2020 Disney closed their Resort hotels due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Walt Disney World began their phased reopening process, opening only a few resorts at a time. Once Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort opens in March 2022, it will be the first time in two years that all of the Disney World Resort Hotels have been open to guests.

Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort is a part of the All-Stars trio. The other two resorts include Disney’s All-Star Music and Disney’s All-Star Movies. All three of the resorts are located near Disney’s Animal Kingdom and each resort has its own unique theming which is described in the name. Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort brings fun and games to guests with tributes to various sports such as baseball, basketball, football, tennis, and surfing. These sports touches are seen throughout the resort from giant football helmets to statues of Huey, Dewey, and Louie playing tennis. New touches have been added to this resort as well from its renovation beginning in 2018. This value resort is a great choice for sport loving families looking to stay in a recently updated Disney property.
