Just as we saw with its counterpart on the east coast, time is running out for Splash Mountain at Disneyland. Mark your calendars – Splash Mountain will be closed at Disneyland Park from May 31, 2023 onwards.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure Incoming
May 30th, 2023 marks the last day you can ride Splash Mountain at Disneyland. After that, we’ll have to sit tight and get ready to take on Tiana’s Bayou Adventure which does not have an official opening date at the moment.
New Mama Odie Concept Art Released
At the same time, we’ve been treated to some new concept art featuring Mama Odie. Mama Odie is a lovable, wise character from Disney’s classic animated film, The Princess and the Frog. She lives deep in the bayou, and exudes wisdom and power. Throughout the movie she helps Tiana learn to embrace her true self and find happiness within. Mama Odie famously sings one of our favorite songs, ‘Dig A Little Deeper’—a song that encourages Tiana not to give up on her dreams no matter how difficult life may seem.
