The nostalgia of the Disney parks is what keeps so many guests coming back year after year. For many repeat guests, the Disney parks are a source of comfort and feel like home. Comfort and coziness is important for so many guests in order for them to feel safe and to have the best time they can during their vacation. Certain attractions at the Disney parks are definitely a comforting and safe space to be in. Those rides that one might consider to be “comfort” rides are those without drops, surprises, and speed. These comfort rides can be found at all four parks, but here are some of Magic Kingdom’s for you to enjoy.
“it’s a small world”
This classic Disney attraction is the epitome of a comfort ride. “it’s a small world” features hand-crafted dolls and sets from the park’s opening in 1971. This attraction first debuted in Disneyland and the Disney World version kept all of the charm of this 1960’s classic. The song that plays throughout the attraction was a Sherman Brothers’ original, and Walt Disney himself had a hand in crafting this attraction. This boat ride through world cultures is a celebration of what makes us different and what brings us together. This message seems to resonate with guests now more than ever before. If you want a charming and cozy attraction, this Fantasyland staple is for you.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh
Located in Fantasyland, this attraction takes a popular comfort character and brings it to life. Winnie the Pooh and all of his friends in the Hundred Acre Woods come together to share the story of the classic film. Guests enjoy a leisurely ride through the Hundred Acre Woods as they see Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet, Kanga, Roo, Rabbit, and even a Heffalump or two. This attraction is whimsical, fun, and cozy for all ages.

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover
Many guests consider this Tomorrowland attraction to be their favorite in all of Disney World. The reason behind its popularity is simple: comfort. The Tomorrowland Transit Authority People Mover is an attraction that takes guests on tour of Tomorrowland and to some behind the scenes areas like inside of Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin. Guests love this attraction and consider it to be a rest for their busy Disney day.

Peter Pan’s Flight
Located in Fantasyland is another original attraction with a lot of comfort and cozy vibes. Peter Pan’s Flight was a Disneyland attraction that guests love to enjoy. Peter Pan’s Flight lets you climb aboard an enchanted pirate ship and fly high above Neverland. For many guests, this attraction was a staple of their childhood and brings with it the comforts of a simpler time.
