The nostalgia of the Disney parks is what keeps so many guests coming back year after year. For many repeat guests, the Disney parks are a source of comfort and feel like home. Comfort and coziness is important for so many guests in order for them to feel safe and to have the best time they can during their vacation. Certain attractions at the Disney parks are definitely a comforting and safe space to be in. Those rides that one might consider to be “comfort” rides are those without drops, surprises, and speed. These comfort rides can be found at all four parks, but here are some of Disney’s Hollywood Studios for you to enjoy.
Toy Story Mania
Toy Story Land is home to Toy Story Mania, a fun-filled attraction for guests of all ages and heights. This attraction uses 3-D effects to bring midway games to you in an interactive way. Guests will zip around the games in their ride vehicle all while competing for the highest score. This ride is cozy because it’s a mix of an attraction and a game. A little friendly competition can really take the fun to the next level.
For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Singalong Celebration
There is something special for Frozen fans in Disney’s Hollywood Studios: For the First Time In Forever: A Frozen Singalong Celebration. This stage show stars two Arendelle story-tellers as they tell the story of Anna and Elsa in a fun and humorous way. Guests are invited to loudly singalong to their favorite Frozen tunes as appearances are made by Elsa, Anna, Kristoff, and Olaf! Stick around for the end of the show when Elsa appears to sing her iconic tune and spread snow throughout the theatre. For the First Time In Forever: A Frozen Singalong Celebration lasts for approximately 30 minutes with showtimes each hour of the day.
Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage
This Broadway-style stage show featuring live singing and dancing has been delighting guests since 1991. This show delivers high-quality performances and tells the story of Beauty and the Beast. This show takes place in an outdoor amphitheater, with performances taking place periodically throughout the day. The show is approximately 25 minutes-long.
The Little Mermaid- A Musical Adventure
Hollywood Studios’ newest show is The Little Mermaid- A Musical Adventure. This cozy stage show brings the story of Ariel and Little Mermaid to life in a new and exciting way. Guests can enjoy live singing, puppetry, and more during this cozy and comforting stage show experience. You might remember this stage show from the early years of Hollywood Studios, but this is a newly reimagined version.
