Kilimanjaro Safaris
Animal Kingdom’s most popular attraction is Kilimanjaro Safaris, and for good reason! This incredible attraction gives guests the most authentic African safari experience they can get in the United States. The animals here are free-roaming and feel comfortable in their enviroment that closely resembles that of the wild. You never know how close they might get to your ride vehicle, or what you’ll see. Guests can be expected to see animals like zebras, elephants, lions, giraffes, flamingoes, and so much more. This attraction is an absolute can’t-miss for kids. Whether your kiddo is an animal lover or not, the experience that comes from riding Kilimanjaro Safaris is so valuable, and educational! As you ride through, the Cast Members driving the vehicles will recite facts and give information about the animals that you see.
Affection Section
Near Kilimanjaro Safaris you’ll find The Wildlife Express Train. This train will take you to Rafiki’s Planet Watch where you’ll find Affection Section. At Affection Section, guests are invited to pet goats, cows, pigs, and other lovable animals. This is a definite must-do for you and your kiddos, especially if your child loves animals.
Zootopia: Better Zoogether!
Animal Kingdom’s newest attraction is Zootopia: Better Zoogether! This show is located in The Tree of Life Theater and brings your favorite Zootopia characters to life onstage. This family-friendly show is a can’t miss for you and your kids.
Na’vi River Journey
Located in Pandora-The World of Avatar, Na’vi River Journey gives you and your child something to experience while other grown-ups or big kids in your group ride Flight of Passage. This gentle boat ride through the bio-luminescent forests of Pandora will relax you and give you a nice break from the chaos of the park.
Meet Characters at Adventurer’s Outpost
You and your children will love heading over to Adventurer’s Outpost to meet their favorite Disney characters. Here guests can meet Minnie and Mickey in their Animal Kingdom explorer’s outfits. Other characters that you can find throughout Animal Kingdom include Moana, Pocahontas, and Russell and Doug.
