Disney World is a massive property that contains 4 theme parks, dozens of resorts, and even a shopping and entertainment center called Disney Springs. Some guests visiting for the first time are surprised to hear that there are 4 theme parks in total. Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom are distinct parks with different themes, rides, shows, and dining options. Each park is worth visiting at least once during your vacation, and it’s recommended that you spend a full day in each park. Many guests wonder if they can visit all 4 parks in just one day. The answer is…yes! With careful planning, visiting all 4 parks in one day is possible. However, the logistics can be complicated.
4 Parks in 1 Day Challenge
Not only is visiting all 4 parks in one day possible, but it’s a popular “challenge” amongst repeat guests. The 4 parks in 1 day challenge has gained popularity in recent years thanks to social media and Disney influencers. The challenge typically consists of riding one attraction, meeting one character, and eating one park-specific snack for each Disney park. Some guests like to add an additional rule where they take a photo in front of the park’s icon. For Magic Kingdom that would be Cinderella Castle, for Hollywood Studios it’s the Chinese Theater, for EPCOT you’d snap a photo in front of Spaceship Earth, and at Animal Kingdom you’d stand in front of the Tree of Life. This challenge is fun for guests to attempt, but it is challenging!

Traveling from park to park can take a lot of time. Each park has a Disney bus that will take you to the others, but if you want to go from Magic Kingdom to EPCOT for vice versa you’ll need to take the monorail. If this challenge is in your future, be sure to plan out your transportation routes ahead of time. Most guests like to start with Animal Kingdom, then bus over to Magic Kingdom, monorail to EPCOT, and then take the Skyliner to Hollywood Studios!
Benefits
Visiting all 4 Disney parks in one day does have its benefits. It’s a fun way to see all of the parks at once, and especially great for when you are visiting for a short amount of time. You can also really get your money’s worth from your park hopper ticket by visiting all of the parks. This is also a fun way to try new park snacks, meet characters that you might not have considered waiting in line for previously, and taking some fun family photos. Of course, by completing this challenge you also get bragging rights to other Disney fans!

Drawbacks
While visiting all 4 Disney parks in one day has its benefits, it still comes with some drawbacks. This isn’t a great plan for first time guests, guests who haven’t been to the parks very many times, guests who aren’t familiar with the parks, guests with small children, or guests who wish to spend significant time in each park. Most people who visit all 4 parks in one day have very little time to dedicate in each park, and find themselves rushing through the process in order to complete it. Overall, if you choose to visit all 4 parks in one day you should think of it as an experience in itself rather than a way to enjoy each park.
