Overview

Boma – Flavors of Africa is a buffet-style restaurant located on the lower level of Animal Kingdom Lodge’s Jambo House. Animal Kingdom Lodge is known for its rich African theming, and that motif carries over to this restaurant complete with colorful decor, art, and thatched roofs resembling an African marketplace. Its theming, size, and location make this restaurant a lively dining experience.

As the name implies, Boma – Flavors of Africa features cuisine from 50 African countries along with classic American fare that can satisfy any palate.

In addition to staples such as pancakes, waffles, and made-to-order omelets, breakfast at Boma – Flavors of Africa also includes cinnamon raisin bread pudding, deviled eggs with smoked salmon, and turkey bobotie, an egg-based dish from Southern Africa. For an additional cost, start your day with a Kenyon coffee press pot, or for those over 21 and older, indulge in a jungle mimosa or Boma sunrise.

At dinner, enjoy oak roast pork ribs, Senagalase yassa-style salmon, or North African cauliflower salad, just to name a few. Kids offerings include pasta, macaroni and cheese, and chicken nuggets. Guests 21 and older can enjoy a selection of wines from South Africa.
