While the “soft goods” refurbishment at Disney’s Beach Club Villas started back in January, and a notice on the Disney Vacation Club members website states that work to update this Deluxe resort would see working being done “through early April”, all signs are pointing to an extended refurbishment schedule.
Beach Club Villas Refurbishment Delays
Currently, there is a notice posted on the public site for Beach Club that reveals refurbishment efforts will be lasting until late fall this year.
From January 7, 2023 through late this fall, Disney’s Beach Club Villas will undergo refurbishment. During this time, Resort amenities will remain available for your enjoyment. While you may see or hear construction during daytime hours, you should not hear noise from Guest rooms between dusk and 9:00 AM.
Disney Vacation Club websiteAt this moment, the fourth and fifth floors have been completed, but this update will span across a total of 208 villas, and work has yet to begin on other floors.
Disney Vacation Club Resort’s Refurbishment Schedule
Late last year, we reported on the Disney Vacation Club resort refurbishment schedule that was revealed at the annual DVC condo association meeting. This gave us insight that both Beach Club and Boardwalk would be receiving updates this year.
Currently, Boardwalk Villas is set to start its refurbishment in September, but with Beach Club seeing delays, we may very well see this affect Boardwalk’s scheduled “hard goods” refurbishment.
