Attractions For All Ages At Magic Kingdom

Part of what makes a Disney vacation so enjoyable is its large number of attractions that are suitable for guests of all ages. Families love traveling to Disney because it is one of the few vacation destinations where families can all have fun together, without separating or having guests miss out due to their height. Magic Kingdom is a park that is full of both classic Disney attractions, and also new and innovative attractions. Many of these attractions can be enjoyed by the entire family, with no height requirement. If you have an upcoming vacation to Disney World with your family, then check out these attractions for all ages at Magic Kingdom.

Astro Orbiters

This attraction is located in Tomorrowland and allows guests of all ages and heights to soar a rocket high above the park.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin

Located in Tomorrowland, families can enjoy becoming a Space Ranger cadet and taking aim at aliens in order to defeat the evil emperor Zurg.

Casey Jr. Splash N’ Soak Station

Perfect for cooling off on a hot day, Casey Jr. Splash N’ Soak Station is located in Fantasyland and features squirting water features for guests of all heights to enjoy.

Country Bear Jamboree

This newly reopened show features audio-animatronic bears singing their own versions of Disney songs. Guests can enjoy the show while hearing songs like Remember Me and The Bare Necessities.

Dumbo the Flying Elephant

This classic Disney attractions allows guests to take flight as Dumbo, and control how high or low Dumbo flies. This attraction even features a playground queue area where little guests can play while they wait to be called back for their turn on the attraction.

Enchanted Tales with Belle

Guests of all ages can enjoy this interactive show starring Belle. Children in particular enjoy this show as Belle calls on them to participate in retelling the story of Beauty and the Beast.

The Hall of Presidents

Located in Liberty Square, The Hall of Presidents is an audio-animatronic show starring every president of our nation’s past. The presidents tell the story of our nation and give explanations of their presidency. This is a great educational opportunity for all, but especially kids.

Haunted Mansion

One of Magic Kingdom’s classic attractions, Haunted Mansion is a spooky, not scary, dark ride that takes guests through the home of 999 “happy haunts”.

“it’s a small world”

This opening day attraction has been operating at Magic Kingdom for several decades. This enjoyable boat ride celebrates human culture and connection.

Jungle Cruise

This attraction features jungle skippers that tell jokes as guests of all ages enjoy the various sights and sounds of the jungle rivers of the world.

Mad Tea Party

This must-do attraction takes guests of all heights for a spin. Guests are able to choose how fast their teacup spins during this classic attraction.

The Magic Carpets of Aladdin

Another flying attraction exists within Adventureland. Guests of The Magic Carpets of Aladdin can experience the flight that Aladdin and Jasmin took during the Disney film Aladdin.

The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh

This attraction follows the lovable bear Winnie the Pooh all of his friends as the story of the classic film is told.

Mickey’s Philhar Magic

Guests of all ages can become enchanted by this 4D production of classic Disney characters, scenes, and songs.

Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor

This show starring Mike Wazowski and other friends from Monsters Inc. is a live comedy production. Featuring audience participation, you never know what you’re going to get.

Pirates of the Caribbean

Another classic Disney dark ride is Pirates of the Caribbean. This boat ride showcases the gritty pirate life, and stars dozens of audio-animatronics.

Prince Charming Regal Carousel

You can’t go wrong with a classic carousel, and Prince Charming Regal Carousel offers stunning views of Fantasyland and Cinderella Castle.

Swiss Family Treehouse

This walkthrough attraction allows guests to travel through the treehouse of the Swiss Family Robinson film.

Tom Sawyer Island

Guests can board a raft and make their way toward adventure on Tom Sawyer Island. This island features caves, forts, mines, and wobbly bridges. Guests explore the island at their own pace and return to Frontierland via raft.

Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover

Guests can get great views of Tomorrowland with the PeopleMover attraction. This slow-moving tour gives guests backstage views of attractions like Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin.

Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid

One of Magic Kingdom’s newest dark ride attractions is Under the Sea: Journey of the Little Mermaid. This dark ride explores the story of Ariel and The Little Mermaid with audio-animatronics and other effects.

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress

One of the oldest attractions at Magic Kingdom is Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress. This attraction follows an American family through the decades as they experience the progress of mankind.

Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room

Another classic attraction that Walt Disney himself designed is the Enchanted Tiki Room. Located in Adventureland, this attraction was the first of its kind to use audio-animatronics.

Peter Pan’s Flight

This classic attraction was an opening day attraction for Magic Kingdom. This unique dark ride is suspended above the attraction giving guests the illusion of flying.
