Attractions For All Ages At Disney California Adventure

Guests traveling to Disneyland in California will also love to experience its neighboring park: California Adventure. While California Adventure does have more of a reputation for thrill rides and attractions for older children, there are still plenty of all-ages attractions to experience here. California Adventure is a family park through and through, and there is much to explore and experience for guests of all ages and heights. Golden Zephyr

Take flight in an exciting attraction with no height requirement. Golden Zephyr is stylized in a retro sci-fi way with gleaming chrome, lights, and stabilizer fins. Guests of all ages can enjoy this whirling attraction.

Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind

Riley’s emotions have taken over at Inside Out Emotional Whirlwind. Guests board a car styled after one of Riley’s emotions and whirl and bounce around.

Jessie’s Critter Carousel

This classic carousel located on Pixar Pier allows guests to ride upon a dessert critter. This attraction is great for all ages but especially those with preschool-age or younger children.

The Little Mermaid- Ariel’s Undersea Adventure

Guests of all ages and heights can board a clam and go under the sea. The Little Mermaid- Ariel’s Undersea Adventure explores the story of The Little Mermaid through audio-animatronics and other visual effects. Watch out for the 12 foot-wide Ursula animatronic!

Mickey’s Philhar Magic

This 12 minute-long 3D movie features 4D effects like spraying water and lights in order to create the story of Donald Duck and Mickey’s Sorcerer Hat. Guests of all ages will love this film and the many Disney movie references it brings.

Monster’s Inc. Mike And Sully To The Rescue

This wild taxi ride through Monstropolis tells the tale of Mike and Sully returning Boo back to her room. Guests will experience the sights and sounds of the Monsters Inc universe as well as see some familiar characters and faces.

Pixar Pal-A-Round

California Adventure’s iconic Ferris Wheel attraction is known as Pixar Pal-A-Round. Guests of all ages can choose either the swinging or non-swinging option for this attraction. Guests who wish to swing will experience a thrilling journey to the top of the wheel as their car glides along the rails. Guests who wish to experience the non-swinging option can experience a much milder version of the attraction.

Toy Story Midway Mania

This attraction is so much more than just a ride! Woody and his Toy Story friends have created Midway games just for you. Board your ride vehicle as you whip through the midway and use your spring-action launcher to shoot targets and other obstacles. Compete for the highest score in your vehicle!

Turtle Talk with Crush

Guests can interact with their favorite sea turtle from Finding Nemo in real time with Turtle Talk with Crush. This show involves a Q&A session between Crush and humans. Crush will ask you and  your children questions and your child can ask questions in return. Don’t skip this fun experience for the little ones.
