A Look at the Four Character Medals for the 2026 Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend

Medals for the 2026 Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend

The finisher medals for the 2026 Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon Weekend are here, and runners now know exactly what waits at the finish line this October. Each of the four races carries its own character theme, from Parisian kittens to a familiar nanny over the London rooftops.

Here is a breakdown of every design, along with the dates, pricing, and details you need to know before race weekend.

5K

Disney Wine & Dine 5K

Friday, October 23, 2026
Start Time: 4:30 AM Eastern Time
Location: Walt Disney World Resort, Florida

The Disney Wine & Dine 5K medal features Marie, Berlioz, and Toulouse from The Aristocats. A Parisian backdrop frames the three kittens, with the Eiffel Tower rising behind them. A pair of macarons rests at the base of the design, tying the medal back to the film’s French setting. The ribbon adds a small illustration of Marie mid-trot next to the “5K” distance marking.

10K

Disney Wine & Dine 10K

Saturday, October 24, 2026
Start Time: 5:00 AM Eastern Time
Location: Walt Disney World Resort, Florida

The 10K medal turns to The Three Caballeros. Donald Duck, José Carioca, and Panchito appear together on a flower-shaped medal body finished in purple and gold. The bold color combination gives this design a distinct look within the weekend lineup.

10-Miler

Disney Wine & Dine Half Marathon

Sunday, October 25, 2026
Start Time: 5:00 AM Eastern Time
Location: Hollywood Studios, Florida

Mary Poppins supplies the theme for the half marathon medal. Three of the film’s animated penguin waiters, complete with bow ties, sit beneath a small umbrella-shaped topper reading “runDisney.” A London skyline anchors the background, clock tower included, and the medal face carries the “13.1 MILES” marking alongside the year. The reverse shows Mary Poppins floating above the London rooftops in silhouette, a nice touch for anyone who flips the medal over.

Challenge

Disney Wine & Dine Challenge

Saturday, October 24 through Sunday, October 25, 2026
Start Time: 5:00 AM Eastern Time
Location: Walt Disney World Resort, Florida

Runners who complete both the 10K and the half marathon earn the Two Course Challenge medal, and this one includes an interactive element. Grumpy walks past a German-style clock and a scattering of pretzels on the front. A hinge lets the medal open. Inside, one face shows Snow White’s silhouette standing before a row of buildings as red gems fall around her. The other face reads “FINISHER” below Grumpy, marking the full 19.3 miles covered across both races.

Registration Pricing and Availability

Registration fees, which include a service fee, vary by race:

  • 5K: $125
  • 10K: $175
  • Half Marathon: $269
  • Two Course Challenge: $449

All four races are currently sold out, so runners hoping to join in should keep an eye out for any future openings or plan ahead for the next event.

The EPCOT Post-Race Party

EPCOT hosts a Post-Race party on October 25. Entry is included for runners registered for the half marathon or the Two Course Challenge. Friends and family who want to join the celebration can purchase separate tickets, making it a good way to wrap up the weekend together.

Final Thoughts

The 2026 Wine & Dine medal lineup pulls from a wide range of Disney films, giving each race its own personality while keeping the weekend cohesive. With the hinged Two Course Challenge medal and the detailed Mary Poppins reverse, there is plenty for runners to look forward to at the finish line. Registration may be closed for now, but these designs offer a clear preview of the rewards on the way this October.
