Spending a full resort day at a DVC resort is a great way to spend your downtime during your next Disney vacation. If you want something quick and easy then Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs serves unique offerings that you can’t find anywhere else like the Pickle Corn Dog and Mexican Street Corn Dog. Cake Bake Shop Bakery is also a great place to stop for a sweet treat, as is Carousel Coffee for an afternoon pick-me-up!

2. Fun Pools and Water Play

Disney’s Boardwalk Resort is home to a feature pool with a twisting waterslide designed to look like an old Coney Island roller coaster. This fun pool is called the Luna Park Pool, and families with kids love coming here. Looking for a more quiet experience? Disney’s Boardwalk features two leisure pools as well.

There’s plenty of fun to be had at the boardwalk! Guests who are 21 and up can experience Atlantic Dance Hall for nightly dance parties. Live entertainment can also be found throughout the boardwalk in the evening. Guests can also walk to Beach Club and enjoy a scenic stroll, and you can even catch a glimpse of the EPCOT fireworks each night.

4. Community Hall

Disney’s Boardwalk Resort features a Community Hall for DVC guests to enjoy. This Community Hall features DVD rentals, board games, a place to relax, and even daily crafts and activities. Community Halls can really come in handy during rainy days, or during resort-only days when you’re trying to keep the family busy.

There is truly no better way to relax and recharge for your next day at the parks than by hanging out at your Disney resort. The biggest benefit in spending the day at your resort is the additional rest you’ll get and the ability to keep going!
